The Club of Metropolitan European CCIs has a rich history of impactful meetings and events:
- London Meeting 2017: The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry joined AEMC during this meeting, marking a significant expansion of our network.
- Budapest Meeting 2019: The last pre-pandemic meeting focused on Smart Cities and Sustainable Urban Development, with special emphasis on supporting Start-Up and Scale-Up ventures.
- Athens Meeting 2024: This crucial meeting emphasized the role of urban chambers in guiding European businesses through new challenges and in constructing a knowledge-based society. Key topics included opportunities presented by digitalization and artificial intelligence.

The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry highlighted its achievements in the areas of SMART initiatives and innovation, including the success of its second-year Chamber Trust Seal.
The advantages of AEMC for BCCI’s members: Through the club, BCCI members can establish closer relationships with entrepreneurs from the involved chambers, significantly enhancing the international acceptance of the Chamber of Commerce Trustmark. In the future, the club plans to expand its membership further, thereby increasing the international community of enterprises.
