The EU Danube Region Strategy (EUSDR) Hungarian national coordinator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is holding an international conference titled ’Future of Businesses within the Danube Region’ in Győr on October 9, 2025.
The English-language event is organized in cooperation with the Danube Chambers of Commerce Federation (DCCF), the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK), the National Development Center (NFK), and Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GYMSVKIK), as key professional partners. The conference aims to tackle the issues of the Danube Region’s macroeconomic role, strengths and challenges, as well as it sustainable future.
Senior executives and project managers from the region’s countries will share their experiences regarding funding options and the role of established networks in strengthening the region’s economy. They will also discuss the issue of a competitive labor market in adapting to a changing market environment, as well as the contribution of value-based corporate governance and leaders to the success of businesses.
The event aligns with the goals of the EUSDR’s Priority Area ‘Competitiveness of Enterprises’ and is also linked to the 3rd International Danube Cup Conference on Entrepreneurship Research, taking place at Széchenyi István University in Győr on October 10 - 11, 2025.
Participation in the conference is free of charge but requires prior registration.
