On 10th of July 2026, the project has been officially launched in Rome, bringing together social partners, policymakers, researchers, and trade unions to discuss how to strengthen digital sovereignty through effective social dialogue.
The event featured discussions on:
- Digitalisation in the workplace
- The role of digital sovereignty in Europe's competitiveness
- The future of work and social dialogue
- Building the capacity of employers' organisations and social partners to address the digital transition
TechSov4Futures – Social Dialogue for Digital Sovereignty in the Workplace is a three-year European project that brings together employers' organisations, chambers of commerce, research institutions, trade unions, and public authorities to advance social dialogue on digital sovereignty and the future of Europe's digital transformation.
Budapest Chamber Of Commerce and Industry ensures national implementation and stakeholder engagement in Hungary, respectively. The role includes co-organising workshops, contributing to territorial assessments and supporting outreach among employers’ representatives and SMEs.
