The event was opened and moderated by András Rév, Chair of BKIK’s International and Foreign Trade College. At the forum, Mark Liu, Director of TAITRA and Executive Chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., highlighted the importance of strengthening Taiwan–Hungary economic relations.
Representing BKIK, Péter Keszthelyi, Vice-Chair of the College and Head of the Smart City Section, presented the economic role of BKIK in the capital and outlined cooperation opportunities available to Taiwanese companies — with special emphasis on smart city and intelligent technology solutions. He also underlined that BKIK members have already established numerous active partnerships in these areas.
Following the professional programme, Taiwanese and Hungarian companies met at a networking session, where substantial discussions took place regarding potential collaborations.
The event clearly reflected the dynamic nature of bilateral economic dialogue: networking among participating companies was successful and also served to lay the groundwork for future projects. BKIK remains committed to providing a platform for sustainable innovation and the expansion of intelligent technologies, emphasising the importance of partnerships built on long-term trust and mutual success.
