Since 2023, the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) has been a regular participant at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, one of the world’s most significant global exhibitions for smart city solutions, sustainable innovations, and digital urban development.
Each year, the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry — with the cooperation of regional chambers — provides an opportunity for Hungarian companies to attend the event. This year’s Hungarian delegation included both returning participants and first-time exhibitors, enabling new, export-ready Hungarian businesses to successfully enter the international business landscape.
This year, 21 Hungarian companies showcased their smart city solutions, including smart benches, smart pedestrian crossings, 3D digital mapping systems, wind energy-based technologies, green roof systems, and camera solutions.
