In line with the European Union's efforts to strengthen economic relations with Latin America, the two parties have already held a series of technical meetings this year. There is also a regular exchange of information between diplomats from the two regions.
Ongoing discussions cover a wide range of business segments, including IT and agriculture, in addition to trade, as well as high-end products such as tropical fruit concentrates, coffee, chocolate and flowers.
As part of the cooperation, an online conference will be held in early September, where BCCI is expecting nearly 200 businesses interested in trade. Details of the event will be provided by the International Relations Office at a later date.
