Division of Economic Services
The purpose of the Economic Services Division is to represent the interests of businesses that provide service and infrastructural background.
Further tasks:
- development of recommendations for the economic proposals and legislation affecting the entire service sector, the specific field, including the economic proposals of the Municipality of Budapest;
- participation in the development and supervision of the chamber tasks related to the regulation of economic services;
- participation in the elaboration of the ethical rules of economic services;
- organization of fairs, conferences and other events
Division of Commerce
Its main task is to explore and represent the interests of commercial and commercial service, tourism and hospitality, financial, service businesses.
Further tasks:
- active participation in law-making in accordance with the interests of businesses;
- building relationships with the political and economic institutions responsible for shaping the entrepreneurial environment of the Hungarian economy;
- maintaining contacts with professional interest groups and associations;
- organizing professional events, publishing publications; participating in the dissemination of new professional knowledge;
building business relationships, exploring foreign markets in accordance with the interests of domestic companies The Division’s electoral classes
Division of Industry
The task of the division is to coordinate the work of the professional units that make up the division, to protect their interests, and to harmonize them in order to promote efficient chamber work.
Further tasks:
- exploration and representation of the sectoral professional interests belonging to the division, and their enforcement;
- strengthening the competitiveness of member businesses;
- cooperation and communication with the ministries and authorities related to the division’s field of activity.

Our higher education activity:
BCCI Academy The Kandó Club was founded on the basis of a cooperation agreement concluded on October 18, 2018 between the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Faculty of Economics of the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE-KTK), which now continues its activities under the name of BCCI Academy.
The purpose of establishing the BCCI Academy:
To provide a forum for Budapest entrepreneurs, university students and the Chamber’s officials, where they can discuss professional ideas and establish personal contacts and, above all, to create an active connection between the student community and the Budapest entrepreneurial sector. Our goal is to involve students in research and professional debates on the development of Budapest’s competitiveness.
Division of Handicraft
Most of the businesses belonging to our Division are from the micro- and small business sector, including most of the construction and light industry trades. The task of the Crafts Division is to enforce the interests of these businesses and to help them access the market.
Further tasks:
- exploration, representation and protection of the interests of entrepreneurs;
- transfer of relevant, up-to-date knowledge and information to the businesses belonging to the crafts division;
